Amani Washington is a visual artist born and raised in South Central LA.  Her artwork is inspired by Jazz, Black Music and Black Culture. Music and art has influenced Amani and the work that she creates from a very young age. Her father is a jazz musician and music teacher. Most of her childhood was influenced by watching and listening to her dad play jazz at the world stage in Leimert Park, teach music at Hollywood high school and sit in on jazz rehearsals and shows. Amani used art to interpret music from a visual standpoint.  She started her art career in the music industry by designing products for tour merchandise in 2016. She gained a quick following of her art and sold out of tour merchandise each show from 2016-2018. She collaborated on several Music projects, including 6 artwork paintings for Harmony of Difference Ep. She created art for Three "Dinner party" albums for Music mogul Terrece Martin, Robert Glasper, 9th Wonder and Kamasi Washington).
 she was Interviewed by Empire, itsnicethat, voyagela, and a Black Genius Award recipient in 2025.
In her multi-disciplinary work, her mediums are oil, acrylic and pastel on large canvas.
